Salma Hayek looks hot in Lingerie! – Matthew Perry  “Well, you can tell how successful the movies are by the fact that I’m here,” joked Friends star Matthew Perry about his post-Friends movie career at the TCA Press Tour this morning. Perry, along with EP’s Marc Firek, and Alex Barnow, and cast mate Allison Janney (The West Wing) held a Q&A panel for their new ABC mid-season comedy, Mr. Sunshine.

In Sunshine, Perry plays a grimly acerbic sports arena manager for the Sunshine Center, a second-tier arena in San Diego. The series will follow Perry’s character, Ben, as he learns to be a kinder, more agreeable person for fear of winding up depressed and alone. Think Chandler Bing if he never married Monica and wound up a bitter misanthrope.

Salma Hayek lost weight recently and is looking very svelte and small. Unfortunately she may have done it the hard and ultimately ineffective way. US Weekly reports that Salma helped co-create and now endorses a juice cleanse called “Cooler Cleanse.” At least this one has enough calories to sort-of live on temporarily. Here are the details from US:

“I’ve been doing juice cleanses for 15 years,” she tells Us. Now the star has teamed up with pal and professional juicer Eric Helm to create Cooler Cleanse, a three- or five-day juice detox delivery program. ($58 a day)

Detoxers consume less than 1,200 calories a day in six drinks, including almond milk and watermelon-lime. “I always lose weight,” says Hayek, who does light yoga during a detox. But the benefits go beyond slimming.

“You’ll have renewed energy,” says Helm, owner of NYC’s Juice Generation. Adds Hayek, “My skin glows when I finish day three. And it inspires me to think about what I put in my body.”

I’ve said this many times in these fad diet stories. Studies have shown time and again that there is no magic formula to lose weight. The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in, regardless of the combination of carbs, protein, or fat you take in. (I recommend FitDay.com to track calories and determine your daily requirements. It’s free and easy to use and we have no affiliation with them. Daily calorie requirements are shown under the “Activities” tab once you fill out your basics.)

If you want to go on a juice fast to lose weight, go ahead but be careful and forewarned that it may be useless, expensive and incredibly uncomfortable if not unsafe. (There are better ways to “detox,” by simply eating more fruits and vegetables and cutting out alcohol and caffeine. Instead of going on a juice diet – why not just eat the vegetables and fruits instead of their juices and get more nutrition with more satiation and less calories?!) In our last post on this subject, on Demi and Ashton’s “Master Cleanse” diet, many of you said it worked for you and may have cleaned out your colon. Some of you included some rather nasty details. The last time that happened for me, I was prepping for a colonoscopy and it was incredibly uncomfortable. If I’m going to lose weight, I’d rather add a few more days on to the process and not feel terrible. I’m not a big fan of Salma Hayek and the fact that she created a juice diet kind of cinches it for me. It’s like she’s admitting she’s full of sh*t.

Well, this is one way to choke out the lezzie rumors. Tommy Girl’s former face merkin Penny Cruz and Javier Bardem (or Javier BarDAYUM as my horny old auntie calls him) became husband and wife in the Bahamas almost two weeks ago. By Hollywood’s standards, two weeks is forever so my headline is still factual (not really). Penny’s spokeswhore confirms the news to the Associated Press and says that it was a tiny wedding with only la familia present.

The most surprising part of this shit is that as soon as Penny slipped the wedded cock ring on Javier (it’s the only way to go), the news wasn’t immediately transmitted via Twitter whale or some shit. There was no 10-page spread in ¡Hola! magazine. Bitches actually kept their lips shut. That means Salma Hayek’s magnificent chichis have been keeping a secret for a while now. Salma Hayek, James Franco and John Baldessari will help Los Angeles Nomadic Division, a 9-month-old nonprofit, raise $250,000 for public art exhibitions. The two-part fundraiser starts today with a dinner at the Beverly Hills residence of Eugenio Lopez Alonso, president of the Jumex Foundation and heir to the fruit-juice fortune of Mexico’s Jumex Group.

The 150 guests, each paying $1,000, will confront baby beets and shavings of ham and parmesan. Actor Joaquin Phoenix will attend. Sister Rain Phoenix will perform with the music collective Gift Horse Project. Tomorrow there’ll be a cocktail reception and more music at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, with tickets ranging from $250 to $500.

Salma Hayek made her 2-year-old daughter’s dreams come true yesterday when she took her for a magical day out at ‘The Happiest Place On Earth’, Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Hayek and Valentina enjoyed all the rides, including Disneyland favourites, The Tea Cups, Alice In Wonderland and It’s A Small World, and the beautiful little girl even got to meet three of the Disney Princesses, Tiana, Cinderella and Snow White.

It was a true family day out for the Mexican actress as she was joined by her mother, Diana Jimenez and her step-daughter Mathide Pinault. Hayek was beaming all day, clearly enjoying the Disney magic as much as her adorable daughter.
